Case orientation is achieved by KRAKEN’s automatic retractable, Star-wheel’ KSCT/30-70 case turner. Integrated into the Kraken’s Case Conveying System with system controls, the Star-Wheel case turner provides configurable orientation on a case size by case size basis at a rate of 30CPM. Case sizes range from 52 to 127 cubic inches.

In specific applications we have achieved as much as 70 cpm with 9” cartons.

Cases can be conveyed on the same conveying line at any given time without the requirement of a new setup or a time consuming changeover using the retractable version of the KRAKEN KSCT/30-70 Case turner. The KSCT/30-70 is a available in a table version design, KTCF-10 and can flip 10 cases per minute.The “Star Wheel” retractable Case Turner allows for a zero time changeover process.
